The law Firm Mclaughlin Law, which specialises in providing legal advice and guidance to those involved in the creative industries has drafted for the Creative People’s Centre a number of issue specific Fact Sheets. Each of these Fact Sheets provide a detailed insight into a specific legal issue encountered in the creative industries. From advice on specific types of contracts used in the creative industries through to more general explanations of key legal concepts such as copyright, the Fact Sheets provide a considerable amount of practical information.
The Creative People’s Centre would like to acknowledge the generous financial support of the New Zealand Law Foundation without whom the creation of these Fact Sheets would not have been possible.
We are also constantly looking to expand the issues covered by our Fact Sheets. If there is a particular issue you think would benefit from being the focus of a specific Fact Sheet, please don’t hesitate to contact us and let us know.
